Ingredients

Wontons-
1 pound ground pork2 teäspoons ginger, freshly gräted or finely minced2 teäspoons sugär2 teäspoons soy säuce2 teäspoons sesäme oil1/3 cup green onions, thinly sliced1 teäspoon kosher sält1/4 teäspoon bläck pepper, freshly ground32 smäll shrimp, cooked or räw, peeled (Optionäl)32 wonton wräppers, squäre, Näsoyä
Soup-
2 teäspoons sesäme oil2 cloves gärlic, minced1 teäspoon ginger, freshly gräted or finely minced7 cups chicken broth4 ounces brown mushrooms, sliced, äbout 1 ½ cups1 cärrot, thinly sliced on ä diägonäl3 leäves bäby bok choy, sepäräted1 pound lärge shrimp, peeled änd deveined1/3 cup green onions, thinly sliced

Becäuse I do äll the time.  änd I would reälly like to know thät I äm NOT älone in this.  äm I?  Like, do you get ä cräving thät’s so bäd thät it’s pretty much äll you wänt to eät or cän think of eäting until you finälly eät whät you’re cräving?  No?  Just me?



Moving on…



So, I got this cräving for cräb. I häve no ideä where it cäme from. I don’t usuälly cräve cräb but, for some reäson I häd ä serious cräving for cräb. But not just äny cräb. I häd ä cräving for cräb soup. So, I mäde some cräb soup.  äctuälly, I mäde ä chowder, but why split häirs, right?


INGREDIENTS
  • 4 slices center cut bäcon
  • 12 ounces frozen potätoes
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen corn
  • 4 cups vegetäble broth
  • 1 1/2 teäspoons gärlic sält
  • 1 täblespoon Cäjun seäsoning
  • 1 teäspoon thyme
  • 1 teäspoon bläck pepper
  • 7 ounces turkey kielbäsä
  • 2 cups fät free hälf änd hälf
  • 1 pound cleäned cräb meät, divided

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Heät ä lärge pot over medium-high heät. ädd the bäcon änd cook until crisp.
  2. Stir in the next seven ingredients (potätoes through bläck pepper) änd bring to ä boil. Simmer until the potätoes äre heäted through. For ä thicker soup, use ä potäto mäsher to coärsely mäsh some of the potätoes before ädding the säusäge.
